DMDC Marketplace Rules

Only genuine Dazzle Me Dancewear costumes or bases may be listed.

All listings are manually reviewed before publication. Payment of the listing fee does not guarantee approval.

Approved listings remain active for 60 days from the date of approval. After 60 days, the listing will expire and must be submitted again with a new listing fee if the item is still available.

Listing fees are non-refundable once a listing has been submitted for review.

Sellers must provide accurate information about the item’s condition, size, colour, decoration, alterations, faults and signs of wear.

Current photos of the actual item being sold must be provided. A DMDC website image may only be used for a brand-new, unworn item and must be supported by current photos of the actual garment.

Buyers and sellers arrange all communication, payment, shipping and collection privately.

DMDC does not process payment for the item, hold buyer funds, organise shipping or guarantee the condition, authenticity, delivery or suitability of any listed item.

DMDC is not responsible for disputes, fraud, loss, damage, non-delivery or disagreements between buyers and sellers.

Listings that do not meet marketplace requirements may be rejected, edited, hidden or removed.

Sellers must promptly remove or update a listing once the item has sold or is no longer available.

DMDC’s Role and Responsibility

DMDC Marketplace is a listing and introduction platform only. Dazzle Me Dancewear & Costuming does not act as the buyer, seller, payment provider, shipping provider, escrow service, agent or representative for any transaction between users.

All enquiries, negotiations, payments, refunds, exchanges, collection, postage, insurance and delivery arrangements take place directly between the buyer and seller outside the DMDC Marketplace. DMDC does not receive, hold, transfer or control payment for the item being sold and has no control over whether either party completes the transaction.

Buyers and sellers use the marketplace and enter into transactions at their own risk. Each user is responsible for confirming the identity of the other party, checking item details and condition, selecting a secure payment method, retaining transaction records and arranging tracked or insured shipping where appropriate.

DMDC does not inspect or independently verify every item and does not guarantee a listing’s accuracy, authenticity, condition, quality, safety, availability, ownership, suitability or delivery. Approval of a listing does not constitute an endorsement, warranty or guarantee by DMDC.

To the extent permitted by law, DMDC is not responsible for payment disputes, chargebacks, refunds, scams, fraudulent conduct, misrepresentation, counterfeit items, lost or damaged parcels, non-delivery, incorrect items, item condition, personal injury or any other loss arising from communication or transactions between users.

Any issue relating to an item or transaction must be resolved directly between the buyer and seller. DMDC does not provide mediation, dispute resolution, debt recovery, refunds or customer service for private sales, and users should not contact DMDC requesting that it intervene in a buyer–seller dispute.

DMDC may review reports concerning misuse of the marketplace and may reject, hide or remove listings or restrict access at its discretion. This does not mean DMDC accepts responsibility for resolving the underlying transaction or dispute.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
